Union County Youth Outdoors Day
Moffit Lake Recreation Area
God's Outdoors Disciples Ministry will host The Union County Youth & Family Outdoors Day at The Moffit Lake Recreational Area on August 9th 2008. This year will be little different with a few venders being on hand with products for sale. There will still be the same fun activities such as Clay Pigeon Shooting, 22 Rifle Marksmanship, Daisy B.B. Gun Backyard Shooting Range, Muzzy & Morrell 3-D Archery Range, Fishing, Paint Ball Trophy Hunting, The King Fisher Sport Fishing Simulator, The Laser Shot Hunting Simulator and The Maxcey Strut Custom Turkey Calls Amatuer Calling Contest. This years guest is Byron L. Tabor.
Other special guest that day will be the The Sturgis First Christian Church Youth Band and several local businesses, churches and organizations. If you are interested in setting up a booth at this event please call 270-952-5053. If your church or organization would like to help with this event please contact us also. This is a free event but monetary donations are appreciated and will be accepted the day of the event. There will be free door prizes and food. All children 12 and under must be in the company of an adult and all participants must sign a wavier. Waviers can be acquired before the event by calling 270-952-5053 or you can fill one out the day of the event.
